YORK, Pa. – October 6, 2016 – The York County Industrial Development Authority (YCIDA) selected JDB Engineering to provide mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering design on the Yorktowne Property project, located in downtown York, PA.

JDB Engineering Projects in York:

  • York County Administrative Center – Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering for the adaptive reuse of the historic former York County Court House and conversion into a government office building. Winner of two national awards, the 128,000 sq. ft. project was the first LEED certified historic rehabilitation project in Central Pennsylvania.
  • York County Human Services Center – Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering for the 110,000 sq. ft. renovation of the York County Government Center to upgrade the engineered systems, modernize the spaces, and create new county offices. JDB Engineering also designed the original conversion of the former flagship Bon-Ton Department Store into the government center.
  • York College of Pennsylvania West Campus – Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering for the new West Campus, comprised of 4 new student housing facilities and the West Campus Community Center which included two dining rooms, food court, convenience store, kitchen, game room, and meeting spaces.
